Arduino Day is a worldwide birthday celebration of Arduino. It’s a 24 hour-long event – organized directly by the community, or by the Arduino founders – that brings people together to share their experiences and learn more about the open-source platform.
Robo Mechatronics Association Bangladesh (RMABD) wanted to celebrate this day for the very first time in CUET and we are delighted to inform you that we have successfully organized the event ‘Arduino Day – 2018’ at CUET campus. More than 45 enthusiasts and students joined this event.
The program at 10:30 am by a rally holding the official Arduino Day-2018 banner and colourful placards. Then main event was arranged in West Gallery, CUET by giving some information about the Arduino Day as well as the Arduino Worldwide Community and its roles. Borkotullah Masum, President, RMA and Reshad Ibn Momin, General Secretary, RMA gave some speech regarding the Arduino Day-2018 to the audiences. Then an introductory session about ‘Arduino and its advantages’ were taken by Faisal Ahmed, EEE14. ‘Ask the Arduino Expert’, a question and answer session was taken as well. After that, a project show based on Arduino was conducted. Then a small quiz contest was taken and we had a winner for the quiz contest. Nafi Asib, CSE17 was the winner of the quiz contest. He got an Arduino Nano as a gift from Robo Mechatronics Association. Then we took some community pictures and finally the event was closed by cutting a cake dedicated to ‘Arduino Day-2018’.
